Science meaning 

          we all are known about the science definition but, here I will discuss the simple meaning of science. I will try to explain the proper meaning and understanding of science.

              If we take one example. Our home planet earth has more events occurring than we can imagine these events involve,

• Living organisms (plant, animal, human, etc.),
• Inanimate structures (mountain, ice glacial, etc.),
• Things which we can see (human, animal, sea, birds, etc.),
• Things which can't see (microbes, the revolution of the earth, light production in the sun, etc.),
• The event that amazes us (rain, the lightning during rain, the rainbow after the rain, below the ground length of the mountain, etc.),
• The event that is terrifying (volcanoes, melting of ice-glacial in the polar region, etc.).
• The formation of our earth is another massive event. 

          These events bring with a lot's of many questions that arise out of curiosity to explain and understand the world we live in, the world around us if u ever wonder 

(1) What's going on? 
(2) How do these events take place? 
(3) Why is it so?  

          Well done you are not alone, these questions running the minds of billions of people every second every day. The answer to all these questions is simple and lies in one word science. 

• What exactly is the meaning of science? 

          Science is an answer. It is the knowledge that we get when we ask a question. 

          Anythings that you throw up in the air, it will fall to the ground. The answer or science behind it is gravity. You see the earth has an attraction to all the objects known as gravity. This invisible attraction (Gravitational force) of what's keep on the earth and not float away in the air.  

           The main thing is that gravity is always there since the beginning. but, it was only understood and explained not very long ago by a very inquisitive person who happens to ask many questions. He was very convinced that an apple doesn't fall far from the tree, which fell on his head. That person was sir Isaac Newton.

            So the gravity existed before the apple fell on Newton's head but, it was understood and explain only when Newton decided to ask three fundamental questions.

(1) What just happened? 

(2) How did the apple fall on its own?  

(3) Why do these things happen always to me? 

          So you see science involves you. Well not just you, me, and everything around us. But, we only understand it when we follow our curiosity and ask a lot of questions and try to find the answer to them.

           But, many times one question can have more than one answer so, there is often more than one theory to explain the science behind each event. it looks like a maze at the center is the event occurring and questions related to it and various paths to the center are the answers to it.           

        Based on the above example we can say that meaning of science is the complete explanation of any event. But, it does not mean that any discovery of new things is not a science. It is also included in science because it is made based on any scientific theory.

     Ingo history, we found that the word "science" comes from the Latin word "SCIENTIA" which means that knowledge. 

 

Some definitions of science that explain the meaning of science  are given below: 

 

 (1) Science is simply defined as it is the systematic study of knowledge.

(2) Science is the systematic theoretical and practical study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

(3) Science is nothing but a simple understanding of how the nature and physical world work. 

(4) Science is trying to explain the world around us.

(5) Science is the solution to any problem through experiment and observation. 

(6) Science is the systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.

(7) Science is the study of our surroundings based on the facts which are observed and experimented with over a period of time.   

Conclusion: 

based on the above discussion the meaning of science is that it is the knowledge of anything else. Science is the reason that anything work in the universe based on experiment and observation.
